What this site is for

This site tells you what Waypost does and how to reach us. It is not a substitute for talking to an advocate. If you are in danger right now, call 911. If you need help, call the 24/7 Help Line at (605) 665-1448.

Using this site

By using this site you agree to these terms. Use it for what it’s for: finding information and reaching us. Don’t try to break into it, copy it wholesale with automated tools, or interfere with how it runs for other people.

What you can count on

We keep what’s here accurate, and we fix mistakes when we find them. Hours, services, and programs change, so if something matters to your plans, call and check. Nothing on this site is legal, medical, or mental health advice. Talking to an advocate is where that starts.

Messages you send us

The contact form is read during office hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Don’t use it for an emergency. If you need help now, call the 24/7 Help Line at (605) 665-1448.

Other sites we link to

We link to hotlines, shelters, and services run by other organizations. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for what’s on them. Their rules apply once you’re there.

Donations

Gifts made through this site are processed by Zeffy, a payment service for nonprofits. Waypost, formerly River City Domestic Violence Center, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. EIN 43-1992651. Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent the law allows. If you gave by mistake, call the office at (605) 665-4811 and we’ll sort it out.

Using what’s here

Copy, print, and share the information on this site. That’s what it’s for. The Waypost name and logo belong to us; ask before using them. Anything here that belongs to someone else is credited to them.

Our responsibility

We provide this site as it is. We aren’t responsible for losses that come from using it, from being unable to use it, or from a site we link to, as far as the law allows. Nothing here limits your rights under South Dakota law.

Which law applies

These terms follow the laws of South Dakota.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies. Questions: (605) 665-4811 or info@waypostsd.org.
